Amy Fitzpatrick Cold Case - Progress
Hello everyone, it’s been a few days since our last visit to this case. We have been working behind the scenes and getting involved with social media a bit more.
The focus of course is on the case of missing teenager Amy Carrie Fitzpatrick who disappeared from Calahonda, Costa del Sol, Spain on January 1st 2008.
For those who may not know the story; 15-year-old Amy had spent New Years Eve with her 13-year-old friend Ashley Rose, babysitting Ashley’s 4-year-old brother at a house in Calahonda, Spain.
A little unusual for a teenager but, that’s for another day.
During that stay over Amy telephoned her mother from the landline at Ashley’s home to say “Happy New Year “.
When Ashley’s mother arrived home at 1.30am the three of them had a drink to celebrate the new year before retiring to bed.
On 1st January 2008 after waking up quite late the two girls, Amy & Ashley are said to have gone out to do a little shopping, returning to Ashley’s home in the late afternoon. We have so far not found a witness to corroborate this.
According to Ashley’s mother Debbie the girls asked her if Amy could stay over on the night of January 1st and Debbie declined saying she thought it was right for Amy to go home as her mum may be worried.
This doesn’t quite make sense as according to Debbie Rose, she was aware of a lone male prowling the local streets in a car, trying to get young girls to go with him.
This is where things get a little awkward as Amy’s mother, Audrey says that she was of the understanding that Amy would be staying at her friend Ashley’s home for two or three nights.
Even in a recent podcast interview, Audrey maintains that she didn’t worry when Amy didn’t come home on the night of January 1st as she guessed she was at Ashley’s house.
In fact Amy left the Rose household sometime between 9pm & 9.45pm on January 1st 2008 to make the 10-15 minute walk home.
13-year-old Ashley told Spanish Police that she had walked with Amy to the beginning of a dimly lit track that Amy often used as a shortcut home. The girls arranged to meet the following afternoon and said their goodbyes. However this was to be the last time Ashley saw her 15-year-old friend.
Amy didn’t arrive home or if she did She left again soon after as we have witnesses that confirm they saw Amy with a blonde adult woman in Nuevo Trafalgar, a cocktail bar in El Zoco Calahonda which lay in the opposite direction to which Ashley claims to have seen her friend go. Interestingly the bar is now listed as ‘permanently closed
So who was the mystery blonde woman that Amy was seen with? According to an informant it is very likely the woman who was a known property fraudster, Audrey Dixon who now lives in Durham in the UK.
We still have quite a lot of work to do on this lady and if anyone knows her please ask her to make contact.

So there have been a number of other things brought to our attention such as the allegation that a person known to Amy & to Dave Mahon (Amy’s mother’s boyfriend) had his car stolen on the night that Amy Fitzpatrick went missing.
The mystery deepens when we reveal that the car, a white Ford Fiesta with British registration plates has never been recovered. Most stolen cars, especially older cheap ones are normally found dumped and/or burnt out or left somewhere.
So where is the car belonging to a 36-year-man named Richard, known as Richie who used to repair Amy’s computer?
It is quite important to quash stories that Amy’s family had access to/use of this car. The owner of the car was the only insured driver and he sometimes left it open for troubled Amy to sleep in.
We are very keen to speak to Richie/Richard, the owner of the white Ford, so again if you are reading this or know where he is, please get in touch.

It is fair to say that Amy Fitzpatrick did not have a great home life and she hated Spain so would often stay out at night.
Police had apparently used sniffer and cadaver dogs to search for Amy for several days after Audrey Donohue (Amy’s mum) reported her missing on January 3rd 2008.
All the searches proved fruitless but in our professional opinion the Guardia Civil did nothing like a professional job on looking for 15-year-old Amy.
Amy’s Friends
Okay so let’s turn to yet another twist in this case, yes there are many.
We have been reliably informed that in the latter days of Amy’s time in Spain, leading up to her disappearance she became involved with two men who were working as dealers of illegal drugs.
The men allegedly paid Amy to go out in their cars with them and pretend to be their daughter whilst they made drug runs. Audrey Donohue said that she was aware that Amy was out a lot but, she believed Amy was out with friends and had no idea about the men.
Who were these men? Where did they take Amy? What happened to them?
Usual request, if you are one of these men or you know who they are, get in touch.
There are so many points we could go on and on, fear not we will return with more in the coming days but for this time, let’s finish with this,
Amy Fitzpatrick was allegedly seen on more than one occasion in the company of an Essex gangland criminal, Eric ‘Lucky’ Wilson who is now serving 23 years in prison for killing fellow gangster, Tall Dan Smith.
Now, we have received intelligence that Dan had a girlfriend named Georgia and she was friends with Amy. We cannot so far prove these allegations but it’s very important that we explore all avenues.
We need to know Georgia’s surname and where she is now so that we can talk to her.
Yes you guessed it, if you know this lady or indeed any one who knew/knows Amy please make contact.
Any information passed to us will be checked out, then added to a dossier to go to the Guardia Civil in Calahonda and to the Garda in Dublin.
All communication will be treated with the upmost confidentiality unless of course we believe a serious crime is being committed or someone may be in imminent danger.
We will be back soon with questions about Falaraki summer 2008 and lots more.
Thank you for reading and in closing , if you make documentaries, podcasts, radio programmes or more we would love it if you would help spread the word on Amy’s story.
